Biography

My wife and I live in Bow Island with our two children Taryn and Brendan. This is our ninth year in the Burdett / Bow Island community.

I graduated from the University of Alberta in 1997 with a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Physical Education. Immediately after graduation, I began my teaching career in the St. Paul School Division. After 2 years with this school board I was given the opportunity of a lifetime to come back and teach in my home community of Burdett. After 5 years I transferred to Senator Gershaw School.

Currently, I teach Phys. Ed and Socials at the Jr. High and High School levels. My passion is for sports and coaching. I am involved with the coaching of volleyball, basketball, badminton as well as officiating volleyball and basketball.

What spare time I have, I also take pleasure in a variety of activities such as golfing, skiing, wakeboarding, swimming, and spending leisure time with family.
